SANTA BARBARA, Calif - The Vaqueros battled but couldn't solve the 28th-ranked Moorpark College Raiders, falling 91-67.
Kyle Haughy led the Vaqueros' scoring effort with 16 points, while James Reach added 13.
Off the bench, Joe Ursich contributed 12 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Phoenix White added a rugged defensive effort with three rebounds, a steal, and two blocks in 13 minutes of play.
Santa Barbara is now 7-10 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
The Vaqueros will look to bounce back at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, against Oxnard College in the Sports Pavilion.
